You’re moving to Arlington as part of Amazon's big HQ2 transition to national landing, and you need to know the best places to live.

Okay. So maybe it's a little bit soon to be moving to national landing just for the HQ to move, but maybe you are moving here in a couple of years, or maybe you already live in Arlington and you're buying a home or investment property and you want to make sure that your purchase is a good investment. Either way. This is the blog for you!

Number 3, Del Ray neighborhood

Long looked at as a great place for first-time home buyers because the price has never reached the height that they have in old town. Delray is a great eclectic neighborhood with many small locally owned shops and restaurants. A lot of the neighborhood was built in the 1910s 1930s. There’s a lot of really cool Art Deco style architecture.

Right now, there's one Metro within walking distance on one side. The other thing going on, that people aren't talking about quite as much as the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus, which is going in right over here next to their proposed new Metro stop.

And now one Potomac yard. Metro opens in a couple years. You'll have walking distance Metro to both sides right now, three and four bedrooms. Near the proposed Potomac yard Metro stop, or it's only for ride a million dollars, but right now in Del Ray, just a few blocks away, you can still get a three bedroom single family home for less than 800, even as low as 600 number to crystal city. (Check out the video for images!)

Number 2, Crystal city

Crystal City has long been somewhat of a ghost town. It's quiet. There's not a lot of places like shops and restaurants, not much of a. Did you have an underground mall, which is still open, but it really has not been all that exciting for a couple of decades. There's a lot of construction going on at national landing right now.

Funny story, I took this footage and then decided to go down a bit though. My intro two days later in front of this building. And when I went down to these later, the building was gone. What they have planned when HD two moves to the area is a bunch of really fantastic spaces. Open air parks. We've already started with Long Bridge Park and their aquatic center.

You can check out my video about that here. They have tons, more plans, HQ itself, even the underground mall. There has been a civic association forum just to decide what's going to happen with the crystal city shops. That's why I put for option number two, a couple of different condo buildings in crystal city.

First you have the Waterford house, literally a 32nd drive to HK two's main campus. Only thing is, is it does not have a pool. So as a backup with a pool about a 40-minute drive from HQ is crystal park condos. This does have a pool. Both buildings were built in there. And were the height of luxury at the time, as you can see, most of the units haven't even renovated their bathroom, they were covered in career units.

And these buildings range from about three to 500 for a one bedroom or five to 800 for a two bedroom, three bedrooms I've seen listed anywhere from 800 to over. The units in these buildings can range quite a bit, depending on how they've been renovated since the eighties, what further on and their view.

Number 1, South Hampton Condos

My top pick for a good investment at national landing is South Hampton condos. They're right across the street from Pentagon city mall and the Metro stop there. There's tons of construction going on right next door, right out your back door, your front door. As the case may be, plenty of parking. These condos are great.

They are two floor condos, more like townhouses. And right now you can get a two bedroom for 650,000. To me, this one's a no brainer.

Check out the link below for a search to all of these properties and also a blog post that I've made with the show notes. And like I said, please do like, and subscribe. I've got tons more planned for you.
